Patient Restraints
Patient restraints are medical devices used in medical and psychological settings to help ensure patient and staff safety. Physically restraining a patient during surgical procedures is utilized to place the patient in a proper surgical position, and to avoid sudden involuntary movements during surgery. Restraining devices are used in psychological facilities to help restrict patients from injuring themselves or the psychological staff during physical confrontations.
