This totally submersible, durable, lightweight AquaTrek Pool Wheelchair is an ideal choice for use in and around pools, spas, and showers. The arms swing out to accommodate easy patient transfer, while a retractable footrest provides lower body support and prevents foot drag. This wheelchair is made from medical-grade PVC with stainless steel fasteners and is covered with innovative waterproof Phifertex fabric, and includes graphite hand rims on the rear wheels for easy maneuverability.
AquaTrek Pool Wheelchair is uniquely designed for aquatic use, making it the ideal transfer chair for use in and around swimming pools, spas, splash areas, leisure rivers, and showers. This durable wheelchair is made from corrosion-resistant medical grade PVC to enable trouble-free use in wet environments, navigating them safely and easily.
This wheelchair comes equipped with a swing arm and moveable footrest to provide comfortable bodily support while easily moving out of the way to facilitate easy transfers. Graphite-colored hand rims on the rear wheels enable easy maneuverability. The front wheels are 7-inches in diameter and the rear wheels are 24-inches in diameter.
The one-piece Nylatron bushings are specifically manufactured to meet the demanding needs of the aquatic environment. The AquaTrek Wheelchair is totally submersible and may be used with any of the AquaTrek Ramp systems.
The Reclining High Back model includes a safety belt, shoulder harness, and anti-tip options as standard features. Additional options include the seat belt and the shoulder harness, as well as the Anti-Tip option. These are available upon request.
