The ischial strap anchors the top of the traction splint against the ischial tuberosity so traction applied at the ankle is countered at the hip, stabilizing a femur fracture during transport.

The large strap supports proper fit on larger patients, and its retro-fit design lets services upgrade or restore existing QD-4 splints. It is intended for EMS agencies and institutional responders maintaining Hare traction splint inventories.

Key Benefits:

Hip Anchor: Provides the counter-traction anchor point at the ischium for the QD-4 splint.

Large Size: Sized to fit larger patients correctly at the hip anchor point.

Retro Fit: Fits existing QD-4 splints, extending the service life of current inventory.

Service Replacement: Restores splints with worn or missing ischial straps.

Specifications:

Manufacturer: FareTec

Model: 1123924

Compatibility: FareTec QD-4 Hare traction splint

Size: Large

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2304/8155/files/ab9b7a_d6228ba10fb249d59b70f6416e78c69d_mv2_d636650a-7156-4a45-b31d-f210fd3d6013.png?v=1793222244
https://rescue-supply.com/products/faretec-qd-4-1123924-large-ischial-strap-retro-fit-hare-traction-splint-strap
