Make a small 3/4 inch incision in the hide, and with the stylet in place, screw the trocar into position: the corkscrew thread is what retains it.

After insertion, wrap some sterile gauze between the trocar plate and the hide; this raises the rumen towards the skin, ensuring a proper seal. The stylet can then be removed to release gas. Sterilize before use.

Key Benefits:

Self-Retaining Design: The corkscrew thread holds the trocar in position.

Made for Chronic Bloat: A standing vent for ongoing gas release.

Seals Against the Hide: Gauze under the plate raises the rumen to the skin.

Stylet Included: Insert with the stylet in place, then remove it to vent.

Plastic Construction: Light and economical for a stocked farm call kit.

https://rescue-supply.com/products/jorgensen-labs-j0040f-corkscrew-trocar-plastic-self-retaining-bloat-trocar
