The Wand Shower Head with Adjustable Length Handle is ideal for users with limited reach or who must sit during their showers. The sleek wand design allows the user to easily maneuver the wand around the body to allow water to clean all areas. The wand comes with 2 hand grip length extenders, an 84-inch hose, a diverter valve, an adjustable water pressure valve, and a MOBB anywhere showerhead gripper.
Wand shower heads are commonly used by people with limited reach due to arthritis, surgeries, injury, or other conditions that impact mobility. Wands also allow caregivers to easily reach all areas of patients while assisting with bathing. The 84-inch (7-foot) hose easily reaches all areas of the body even for patients that are utilizing a shower chair or shower gurney.
The ergonomically designed extended hand grips each add 5 inches of length to the handle for a total of an extra 10 inches of rigid handle surface. This is ideal for users or caregivers who are unable to reach areas of the body and need to hold the wand further down. The extenders are easily attached between the base of the wand and the hose.
The Wand Shower Head with Adjustable Length Handle comes with MOBB’s Anywhere Shower Head Gripper. The gripper utilizes suction to affix to the wall of a shower using a lever action to lock the holder into place. The gripper has a hook that snugly holds the wand out of the way while the wand is not being used. This gripper is designed to be a permanent wand holder solution without needing to drill holes into shower walls.
Diverter valves are designed to allow the original shower head to remain in place and a wand to be connected to the same piping. The diverter valve connects behind the original shower head and the wand hose extends below. The diverter is easily controlled by a push button that diverts the water to the desired shower head. Only one showerhead receives the water at a time. This is ideal for showers that are shared with individuals who do not use the wand shower head.
The adjustable water pressure valve can be attached before the diverter to allow users to turn the water pressure up or down. This is ideal for areas with low water pressure or for people who are more sensitive to water pressure and need it lowered while showering.
