Descending Tools & Devices
A descender device is an essential equipment for any climber. They allow a user to safely descend a fixed rope at their pace. The devices create friction on the fixed rope allowing a user to control their descent speed and their position on the rope. They are especially useful for rescue workers and work-at-heights professionals.
