It is an effective solution for individuals who require microclimate control and want the benefits of System Lock, an Auto Comfort setting, and Pulse Mode that provides three levels of therapeutic alternative pressure relief.
This system includes a SelectAir½® Max Pump, a mattress with foot pillow, a water-resistant, flame-resistant, vapor permeable, and bio-compatible zippered mattress cover, individual baffles divided into three sections (head, seat, and foot), integrated side air bolsters, and a 1" foam pad to slide under the mattress for cushion in case of power loss.
The Firm Mattress Mode helps to facilitate nursing care during patient repositioning and dressing changes, while the Upright Patient Mode adds support and does not interrupt the therapeutic benefits of this pressure relief mattress when the head of the bed is elevated. The foot pillow helps to prevent skin breakdown due to patient migration.
The beneficial System Lock feature aids in preventing accidental adjustments, and will automatically reset the system in case of power failure. Take the guesswork out of programming with the Auto Comfort feature which will set optimal pressure according to the patient's weight distribution during set-up. Alternating pressure is achieved with the Pulsation feature which offers three different cycle settings that continuously readjust the system to make sure the patient is comfortable.
