The Cubix Safety BC3-Pq-QT is the Premium (QuikClot) configuration of the BC3 personal bleeding control kit. It contains every component of the Standard BC3 kit, with the addition of QuikClot Hemostatic Dressing and HyFin Compact Chest Seal Twin-Pack, in the same red rip-stop nylon rapidly deployable zippered pack.
The HyFin Compact Chest Seal Twin-Pack treats penetrating chest wounds — the twin-pack format covers entrance and exit wounds — extending the kit beyond limb and junctional bleeding. The QuikClot hemostatic dressing adds a clot-promoting dressing option for wounds where direct pressure and packing alone may not control bleeding quickly. The core set is unchanged: the QuickTight Tourniquet for severe limb bleeding, a 4-inch flat emergency trauma dressing for direct pressure, compressed wound-packing gauze, trauma shears, nitrile gloves, a permanent marker for recording tourniquet time, and an instruction sheet for the lay responder.
Facilities step up to the Premium (QuikClot) tier when their risk assessment covers penetrating trauma or when their bleeding control program follows the fuller STOP THE BLEED equipment model.
