The Cubix Safety STB3-Pn-CAT is the Premium (NuStat) configuration of the STB3 personal bleeding control kit. It contains every component of the Standard STB3 kit, with the addition of NuStat Hemostatic Dressing and HyFin Compact Chest Seal Twin-Pack, in the same red rip-stop nylon rapidly deployable zippered pack.
The HyFin Compact Chest Seal Twin-Pack treats penetrating chest wounds — the twin-pack format covers entrance and exit wounds — extending the kit beyond limb and junctional bleeding. The NuStat hemostatic dressing adds a clot-promoting dressing option for wounds where direct pressure and packing alone may not control bleeding quickly. The core set is unchanged: the CAT Tourniquet for severe limb bleeding, a 4-inch flat emergency trauma dressing for direct pressure, compressed wound-packing gauze, trauma shears, nitrile gloves, a permanent marker for recording tourniquet time, and an instruction sheet for the lay responder.
