The MOBBility Bed Assist Rail with Mesh Storage Pockets is designed to work with most bed types and sizes. The legs are height adjustable to accommodate most bed heights and the rail is equipped with a bed frame strap to keep the rail stable. The rail features a padded hand grip and mesh pockets on the exterior of the rail keep items close at hand for quick access.
Bed Assist Rails are designed to give increased independence to the elderly and people who suffer from limited mobility. The rail provides a secure handle for the user to grasp as they are sitting, standing, or just turning over. The mounted rail allows the user to utilize their upper body strength to position their body which is beneficial for users with weakened core or lower body strength. Utilizing the rail also works to stabilize the user's balance which helps to reduce the risk of falling.
The MOBBility Bed Assist Rail is designed with an arm that slips between the mattress and box spring. In addition to the arm that is held in place from the weight of the mattress, the rail has a security strap that affixes directly to the bed frame (not shown above) to remove any risk of shifting or tilting of the rail. The rail is equipped with height-adjustable legs that allow the rail to accommodate the bed of various heights. The legs each have a rubber cane-style tip that protects the floor from scratches or damage, as well as, helps the legs firmly grip the floor to avoid shifting.
