The Nasco Life/form Advanced Venipuncture and Injection Arm (LF01250U, medium skin tone) provides complete venous access for IV therapy and phlebotomy, plus sites for intramuscular and intradermal injections. Its extensive 8-line vascular system lets students practice venipuncture at all primary and secondary locations, including starting IVs and introducing over-the-needle IV catheters, with one external fluid bag supplying simulated blood to all veins at once.

Venipuncture can be performed at the dorsal metacarpal, digital, and thumb veins of the hand, the median cephalic, median basilic, and median cubital veins at the antecubital fossa, and along the basilic, cephalic, accessory cephalic, and median antebrachial veins. The upgraded soft, lifelike skin rolls as the veins are palpated and a discernible pop is felt on vein entry; intramuscular injections are practiced in the deltoid and intradermal injections in the upper arm produce characteristic skin welts. Simulated veins and skin are replaceable, so the arm can be kept in service through hundreds of injections.
