The enPuls 2.0 from Zimmer MedizinSystems is a compact, mobile, compressor-free radial pulse shockwave therapy system for professional physical medicine environments. An electromagnetic generator accelerates a projectile within the handpiece, converting kinetic energy into impact energy at the applicator head, which produces radial pulses in the target tissue. The system uses Softshot technology, with a projectile approximately five times heavier than those in standard air-compressor systems, reduced final velocity, a longer pulse rise time and lower peak pressure amplitude.
