The FareTec CT-EMS Bilateral Leg Traction Splint (SKU: 1126632) is a specialized device for pre-hospital care and transport of patients with bilateral mid-shaft femur fractures. This kit includes two independent splints, allowing precise, individual traction on each leg to relieve pain, protect surrounding tissues and muscles, and minimize risks from vascular damage.
Constructed from carbon fiber tubing that assembles quickly with an internal bungee, it uses a 4:1 purchase system for delicate yet powerful traction suitable for all patient sizes. Extremely lightweight and compact, the CT-EMS is ready-to-use straight from the bag with all components attached (ankle hitches, leg straps, waterproof instructions). Designed for civilian EMS use (with tactical/military variants available), it's X-ray translucent, corrosion-resistant, and includes a synch bag for easy storage.
