This kit combines the Mangar Rhino supine lifting cushion with the Mangar Airflo Duo battery compressor and a carry bag for the US market. The Rhino lifts a person in the supine position from the floor to the height of a bed or stretcher.
The Airflo Duo is a lightweight lithium-ion powered compressor; each battery charge completes up to 20 complete lifts and transfers, so the kit is ready for repeated emergency and ward use without a mains connection during the lift.
The Rhino has been tested to a maximum user weight of 500 kg; the manufacturer notes that an individual risk assessment should be performed for each patient.
