Bleeding Control Kits are a way of giving the responder battlefield-tested tools to stop traumatic blood loss.
Each kit contains a tourniquet (SWAT-T or CAT), a six-inch emergency trauma dressing, two compressed wound-packing gauze packets, a set of trauma shears, two pairs of nitrile gloves, a survival blanket, a permanent marker, and an instructions card. All supplies are neatly arranged in a red rip-stop zippered nylon bag ready to be rapidly deployed. There are four variations of these kits (see below). The Basic Kit (AMP2001) comes with a SWAT-T (Stretch Wrap And Tuck Tourniquet) and the supplies listed above.
The Intermediate One Kit (AMP2002) comes with a SWAT-T (Stretch Wrap And Tuck Tourniquet) and the supplies listed above with the addition of a HyFin Vent Compact Chest Seal Twin-Pack.
The Intermediate Two Kit (AMP2003) comes with a Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT) and the supplies listed above, and a HyFin Vent Compact Chest Seal Twin-Pack.
The Premium Kit (AMP2004) comes with a Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT) and the supplies listed above, a HyFin Vent Compact Chest Seal Twin-Pack, and one Quik-Clot bleeding control dressing.
