Clothes Hamper With Lid

This collection covers laundry and linen handling for healthcare: lidded linen hampers and the linen carts that move clean and soiled laundry through a facility. IPU, Mor-Medical and Graham Field lead the sampled vendors.

A lid keeps soiled linen contained — visually, for odor and for infection control — while it waits for collection. In clinical areas a lidded hamper is the default specification rather than an upgrade, which is why the collection is organized around it.

Cart options include IPU's MRI-compatible 4-shelf multi-purpose cart, IPU's 3-shelf Standard Line linen cart with antimicrobial PVC construction and dual-side access, and MJM's wood tone mini-linen cart with cover. Carts cover facilities that centralize linen in a cart rather than hampers at each room.

Mor-Medical's large deluxe linen hamper is listed at 43 gallon capacity, and its small triple linen hamper uses a zipper bag for infection control. Capacities are stated in the product titles, so rooms can be matched to hamper size.

Hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and hotels standardizing laundry handling. Lidded hampers are usually bought in room quantities, with carts for the floors that collect from them.
