The PrimeMat 2.0 is an impact reduction fall mat made to sit beside the bed of a patient at high risk of falling, as part of a wider fall prevention program. Its molded polyurethane foam inner core absorbs and rebounds on impact, softening the force of a fall onto the floor. At 72 inches long by 24 inches wide and 0.75 inches thick, it covers the main exit zone beside a standard bed while staying low enough not to trip a walking patient.
Tapered, beveled edges let beds, lifts, and other equipment roll over the mat with ease, and the non-slip bottom keeps the mat secured in place so it does not become a trip hazard itself. The embossed non-slip PVC top cover has a leather look, is durable and puncture resistant, and the patterned surface helps minimize slipping.
