The First Aid Only FAE-5013 is a SmartCompliance refill of sterile gauze pads, 10 pads of 3 by 3 inches in a box. Each pad is 12-ply 100 percent cotton gauze, a dense professional-grade weave that absorbs far more than light retail dressings, cushions the wound site, and holds together for cleaning lacerations, wiping down minor wounds, and applying antiseptics or medications. Every pad is individually wrapped to stay sterile until the moment of use, and the material is latex-free.
Gauze is the workhorse dressing of a first aid station, used alone for cleaning and coverage and under tape or wraps for larger wounds. As a SmartCompliance refill, the box carries the SmartTab ezRefill reorder tab, so the module flags itself before the cabinet runs out of its most versatile dressing. The refill is an ANSI/ISEA Z308.1 compatible component, sized for the gauze position in SmartCompliance cabinets.
