The Freemotion e10.9b Total Body Elliptical (model FMEL84418) is a commercial elliptical with a simplified user interface console and iFIT Sync. It is made for fitness facilities and institutional wellness settings where users need low-impact, total-body cardiovascular training with upper-body workout arms.
A 400 Watt self-generator resistance system provides 1–24 resistance levels, and the console offers 24 preset programs including weight loss, speed interval, race training, hill climb, heart rate, and watt training. The display reports speed, resistance, RPM, distance, calories, time, heart rate, watts, and pace. With iFIT Sync, a synced smart device makes the console interactive, and resistance matches the terrain in video workouts filmed around the world. This is the simplified-console variant: it does not have the built-in HD touchscreen fitted to the e22.9.
The 20 in (50.8 cm) stride, non-skid traction control cushion pedals, and soft-touch upper-body grips support total-body training, and the Quiet Belt Drive System uses a Hutchinson J10 space-efficient rear drive. Heart rate can be read through dual-grip pulse sensors and a Polar wireless receiver. The self-generating resistance system reduces dependence on a dedicated power drop, with input of 110–240V and output of 15V 3A listed for the console.
