The Freemotion i10.9b Incline Trainer (model FMTK74222) is a commercial incline trainer in the Freemotion SMARTSERIES powered by iFIT, fitted with a simplified user interface console. It is made for fitness facilities and institutional training settings that use hill training, HIIT workouts, and functional training with incline and decline ranges beyond a standard treadmill.
The incline range runs from -3% decline to +30% incline, driven by a lift motor delivering 1,500 lb (680 kg) of lift force, and speed runs from 0–12 mph (0–20 km/h) through an AC 5.0 HP commercial drive motor. The console offers 44 programs, including a Set a Goal Workout Center, weight loss, heart rate, speed interval, race training, incline programs, and fitness tests. 1-STEP controls adjust speed, incline, and decline quickly during interval work, with additional in-handle controls for speed and incline. This is the simplified-console variant: iFIT interactivity comes from iFIT Sync with a synced smart device, not from a built-in touchscreen.
