The Shuttle Recovery (Standard), manufactured by Shuttle Systems, is a supine leg press system designed for ease of use in clinical settings. Per Shuttle Systems, it handles a diverse range of patients, from high school athletes to bariatric rehabilitation clientele, with activities from post-surgical work to aggressive plyometric jumping. Patient transfers, resistance adjustments, and range-of-motion changes are designed to be easy for both patient and clinician.
Resistance reaches up to 150 lb at full extension, and the wide backrest provides additional support for bariatric and senior patients. A carriage lock-down and foot supports suspend the patient's feet against the kick plate for security during loading and unloading, and resistance and range of motion can be adjusted while the patient remains on the carriage, which reduces transfers during a session.
