This effective new alarm system combines a patient positioning lap cushion with a chair-exit alarm. An integral magnetic switch activates an alarm when the patient releases the Velcro® closure either by hand or by rising from the wheelchair. Skil-Care’s Chair-Pro Lift-Off Lap Cushion Alarm as non-restrictive and may be used as part of a restraint-reduction program. Replacement guaranteed for one full year, this alarm system eliminates the cost of having to buy expensive, frequently replaced sensor strips. It may be used with 16-inch- to 18-inch-wide wheelchairs.
