This Jacquette scaler is the double ended hand scaler for dental cleaning: designed to remove supragingival calculus with sharp pull strokes, it works the crowns above the gumline tooth by tooth. The scaler tip is triangular in shape with a sharp tip, so it tracks the tooth surface and gets under the edge of the deposit.
The double end pattern carries the two working ends on one stainless steel handle, the 2 and 3 Jacquette shapes, so the scaler is flipped rather than exchanged as the work moves around the mouth.
