Jorgensen Labs J0044B Equine Nylon Twitch
The Jorgensen Labs J0044B is Jorgensen Laboratories' nylon twitch for equine restraint. Every Jorgensen generation checked names this exact code 'Equine Nylon Twitch' (EA): the September 2021 list at distributor $32.00 / list $47.00, the December 2021 and August 2022 lists at list $47.00 and $52.00, the July 2025 list at list $52.00, the December 2025 list at list $59.00, and the November 2026 distributor list at distributor $42.00 / list $59.00. Within its own family, the 'Nylon' word is this code's documented distinction - the neighbouring codes are J0044 'Equine Humane Twitch' and J0044A 'Equine Chain Twitch' - so the nylon construction at the product-type level is documented by the manufacturer's own name for this code.
Jorgensen's lists publish no further construction detail for J0044B: no source located states a handle material, a handle length, a cord construction, or a weight for this code, and no edition mentions a handle for any J0044-family code. The previous copy's 12-inch wooden handle and heavy-duty braided cord claims appear in no Jorgensen source for this code and are removed.
Key Benefits:
- Documented Nylon Construction: J0044B is named 'Equine Nylon Twitch' in Jorgensen's own lists - nylon is this code's documented distinction from the humane and chain twitches in the same family.
- Family Distinction by Code: J0044 (Humane), J0044A (Chain) and J0044B (Nylon) are separate codes in every generation, so the nylon model is identifiable by its own code.
- Current-List Pricing Traceability: J0044B carries distributor $42.00 / list $59.00 in the current November 2026 list.
- Sold by the Each: The documented unit for J0044B is EA in every list generation.
