Kimtek FIRELITE Transport Mercedes Hannay FMH-208 UTV Firefighting Skid: Removable pump skid with pre-connected Hannay reel for pump and roll
Built by Kimtek for fire and rescue departments, FIRELITE skid units are low profile, no-nonsense wildland firefighting units for UTVs. The FIRELITE Transport Mercedes Hannay FMH-208 pairs a removable Mercedes Wick pump with a pre-connected Hannay Reel, giving forestry crews full pump and roll capability plus the option to carry the pump to remote water.
The unit comes complete with a removable Mercedes Wick 100-4H gas driven pump powered by a manual recoil 2.1 HP Honda engine with low oil protection. It flows 65 GPM at 15 PSI, 50 GPM at 35 PSI, and 20 GPM at 70 PSI. Stainless steel piping and brass valves with aluminum cam locks allow the pump to be removed from the skid. Discharges include two gated 1 in discharges when the pump is removed, a gated 1 in pump to tank refill, a gated 1 in line to the booster reel when the pump is mounted, a gated 1-1/2 in auxiliary suction, and a gated 1-1/2 in tank to pump.
A tank mounted, pre-connected F4000 Series Hannay Reel with manual crank carries 100 ft of 3/4 in or 50 ft of 1 in Boostlite booster hose. The all aluminum unit with bright diamond plate carries an integrated 55 or 70 gallon poly water tank with sight gauge, an around-the-pump 1-1/2 in line with shut-off, a hose bed, two 48 in x 1 in grab rails, and ten 24 in Velcro D-loop straps. The unit ships fully assembled.
Booster hose supplied as standard is yellow Boostlite; red rubber jacketed hose is available on request.
