Built by Kimtek for fire and rescue departments, FIRELITE skid units are low profile, no-nonsense wildland firefighting units for UTVs. The FIRELITE Ultra High Pressure FCAT-209 is a slip-on skid unit built around an ultra high pressure pump and Class A foam induction for efficient water use.
The unit comes complete with a CAT ultra high pressure pump delivering 6.7 GPM at 1,200 PSI, powered by a 9 HP Honda gas engine with electric start. The included foam induction system is designed for Class A concentrates with injection from 0.5% to 6.0%, and a CAT dual-strike UHP nozzle delivers water or foam solution. A 1500 Series UHP Hannay electric rewind reel carries 100 ft of 1/2 in high pressure rated booster hose with the UHP nozzle.
The skid carries a 55 or 68 gallon poly water tank with a 5 gallon foam cell, plus a pressure gauge, inlet filter, primary and secondary pressure relief, and a purging system. A rescue area for a long board or Stokes basket is available as an option. Kimtek lists a five year pump warranty. The unit ships fully assembled.
