The Submed Easy HD Fistula Kit is a dual-phase, specialized medical procedure pack designed specifically for arteriovenous (AV) fistula cannulation and decannulation in hemodialysis therapy.

Engineered to streamline clinical workflows and optimize aseptic techniques, this kit conveniently separates supplies into dedicated Connection and Disconnection sets. By providing all critical drapes, swabs, gloves, adhesives, and pressure dressings in exact single-use quantities, Submed helps clinic staff save time, reduce cross-contamination risks, and maintain standard-of-care hemostasis after treatment.

Dual-Set Components

1. Connection Set (AV Access Initiation)

  • 2x Medium Powder-Free Nitrile Gloves: Positioned outside the bundle for quick aseptic donning prior to site preparation.
  • 1x PE/Tissue Plain Drape (40x50 cm, 37 gsm): Absorbent, fluid-proof barrier drape to maintain a clean field under the patient's arm.
  • 4x Nonwoven Swabs (7.5x7.5 cm, 4-ply, 40 gsm): Soft, highly absorbent swabs for skin preparation and antiseptic application.
  • 8x Adhesive Plaster Strips (2.5x14 cm): Viscose/polyester blend pre-cut tape strips for securing fistula needles and tubing safely during treatment.

2. Disconnection Set (Post-Treatment Hemostasis)

  • 2x PE Pressure Bandages (38x72 mm): Specialized polyethylene pressure pads designed to facilitate rapid puncture site closure and hemostasis post-decannulation.
