Defibtech Lifeline AED Package (DCF-100)

The Defibtech Lifeline AED package is built around the original Lifeline semi-automatic defibrillator, a device designed so that even non-medical personnel can deliver advanced treatment for sudden cardiac arrest. It is simple and unintimidating to use: there are only two buttons on the unit, a green button to turn the unit on and a red one to shock the patient if needed.

A calm voice leads the rescuer through the rescue, clearly and concisely stating each instruction one step at a time, while brightly lit progress lights provide visual guidance that reinforces the voice instructions. As protocols change over time, the unit can be upgraded in the field simply by inserting a data card, and event data recorded by the unit is easily retrieved the same way.

The lightweight, fully integrated design has no lids or moving parts that would confuse or delay a rescue, a roomy handle big enough even for gloved hands, and rubberized surfaces for a sure grip in an emergency. An actively illuminated status indicator shows unit readiness, and the highly visible yellow color makes the unit easy to locate and deploy.
