Kimtek FIRELITE Transport Pacer FP-201 UTV Firefighting Skid Unit: Entry level wildland firefighting skid with rescue capability
Built by Kimtek for fire and rescue departments, FIRELITE skid units are low profile, no-nonsense wildland firefighting units for UTVs. The FIRELITE Transport Pacer FP-201 is Kimtek's entry level firefighting skid and pairs a complete Pacer Deluxe Fire Fighting System with a rescue area for carrying a patient on a long board or Stokes basket.
The Pacer system includes a centrifugal pump powered by a 6.5 HP Briggs and Stratton OHV engine that self-primes to 25 ft with initial charge, 20 ft of 2 in suction hose with strainer, and 125 ft of 1-1/2 in discharge hose with a 1-1/2 in adjustable spray nozzle. The pump is rated from 60 GPM at 45 PSI to 200 GPM at 5 PSI, sits in a lightweight roll cage, and uses a quick disconnect tie-down for fast removal.
The all aluminum unit with bright diamond plate carries an integrated 55 or 70 gallon poly water tank with sight gauge, Schedule 40 piping with a tank to pump valve, valved intake suction, an around-the-pump 1 in line with shut-off for water pack refill, and a hose bed for hard suction, forestry hose, and nozzles. Two 48 in x 1 in stainless steel grab rails and ten 24 in Velcro D-loop straps serve the rescue area. The unit ships fully assembled.
