Kimtek MEDLITE Transport Cot Unit MTSTR-104 UTV Stretcher Transport Skid: UTV skid unit built to carry a standard ambulance stretcher
The Kimtek MEDLITE Transport Cot Unit MTSTR-104 carries one patient on a full size standard ambulance stretcher along with one EMS attendant. The stretcher rides inside the unit and attaches in much the same way a stretcher is secured inside an ambulance.
The customer supplies and installs the primary lock and release mechanism specific to the make and model of stretcher in use. Built-in adjustable wheel chocks, a secondary locking strap near the headboard, and ten included Velcro D-loop straps provide redundant securing in rough terrain. The unit can also carry a patient on a long board or Stokes basket instead of a cot.
The attendant seat with seat belt glides on wheels and locks in two positions along guide rails, and stainless steel grab bars run along each side. This is a permanent mount unit: it must be bolted to the UTV cargo bed, and the cargo bed must be bolted to the UTV chassis. It ships fully assembled.
Please note: Long board, Stokes basket, and stretcher are not included.
